We started in 1964 as a small secluded fishing resort. We are a little bigger now, but just as secluded as then. Today, we offer first-class, freshly remodeled modern accommodations, diving, and a world class fishing experience.
We provide a complimentary concierge service, meaning we go to town for you. It is 50 miles R/T and takes half your day. We want you enjoying not driving. We provide complimentary kayaks and have a small kids fort type play area. Our store stocks the necessary vacation stuff and then some since it serves the community all year round. if we don't have it we get it for you and you pay just for the items, no mark up. We have all your scuba and fishing needs in the store as well such as ice, air, snorkeling gear, rods, plastic bait, lures and will be happy to get live bait as needed. We rent full scuba gear to certified divers.
When you come, please bring your pets as we are very pet friendly just clean up or walk them through the connected acreage of the Corps that abuts us for hours. Even better than you bringing them is that they stay free!
Both the store and restaurant are located 3/4 mile from one resort and 1 mile from the other. Deer and turkey will be seen everywhere and the birding is amongst the finest to be seen in North America we have numerous feeders Bald Eagles nest within 1/4 mile of your unit and there are over 55 deer, hand-fed, that call our little area home. We provide complimentary free range chicken and quail eggs and they say they are among the best, people say that not the birds.
We would be happy to arrange any other adventures you desire like trout fishing in one of the world-class rivers located an easy drive away. Or learning to scuba dive, or a lake charter fishing trip. We are preoccupied with your enjoyment even before you make a reservation and far after you leave. Our past guests have become friends and many come multiple times per year.
